Recently, the “International All Star Martial Arts and Karate Team Wright” out kicked and out punched their opponents to win several first places and a Grand Championship Isshin-Ryu Karate Title at King’s Karate Tournament held in Newton, NJ at Merriam High School.
Many Top Rated Karate teams, Karate Leaders and formidable competitors attended this well Run tournament. The Director was Master Doug King 8th Dan in Isshin-Ryu Karate. In attendance were Hanshis Ralph Passero, Don Nash, Pete Vitale, Marvin Carmona, John Huges, Dennis Hoare, Kevin McGraph, Grandmaster Kinkade, and our very own Hanshi Austin Wright Sr. Also, Masters Paul Kildoff, Dr. Christopher Viggiano, Richard Serpa, Mauro Iasparri, Sensei Kenneth Jackson Jr. (4th Dan) and Kenneth Jackson Sr. (2nd Dan).

• Kenneth Jackson Jr. (4th Dan) won 1st place in sparring, 2nd place in weapons and 4th place in Kata. Also Kenneth won two more fights against other 1st place Black Belt Champion winners to take the Grand Championship Title.
