International Martial Arts inspirational leader Austin Wright Sr. received National Fame for his continual efforts as the New Jersey State Martial Arts Director of After School Child Safety Programs. Instituting personal protection safety strategies for children, women and families for street survival is Wright’s specialty. Grand Master Dr. Austin Wright Sr.’s was inducted by two distinct Hall of Fames.First, Dr. Jim Thomas has inducted Dr. Wright into the U.S.A. Hall of Fame, Hall of Hero’s in an upcoming book of Martial Arts Legends 2010.

Second, All Star World Grand Champion Austin Wright was inducted by Grand Master Y.K. Kim into the 2009 Martial Arts World Magazine Hall of Fame and Expo held at the famous Reo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The prestigious Hall of Fame Banquet and Ceremony was televised and held at the luxurious Reo Hotel and Casino a few blocks from the Bellagio Hotel and Casino as seen on the movie, Ocean 12 staring actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney. In attendance was Ernie Reyes Jr. who is a Martial Arts icon, Movie Star and Black Belt Magazine Superstar from California along with Tom Patrire, founder of CDT Compliance, Direction and Take-Down. Wright networks with Martial Arts living Legends and movie stars at the Martial Arts Expo 2009. Wright’s new Inspirational Quote for the New Year is “Maximize your potential again, to achieve Success in 2010”
Austin has educated concerned Parents, Women and Kids in Bully Safety Prevention and Intervention for over 25 years. In the past; Wright has given has given Empowerment Safety Lectures and taught Tactical Skills in Jersey City, North Bergen, Union City and Bayonne, NJ and gets results. He has instructed at P.S. #27, #24, #11, Ferris High School and #9, Girls Scouts of Greater Essex and Boys and Girls Club, Bayonne Housing Projects, Youth Centers, P.A.L., YMCA just to name a few.
Wright says as a Society, we all must become safety conscientious, know street survival safety skills and become aware of our Children’s environment. The key to Prevention is if someone or a group (gang) shows you signs of war to be prepared to “thwart the lure” and remember, Police Intervention is essential in today’s unpredictable society.
Austin Wright comes from a lineage of Traditional “Warriors” just as in Japan and Okinawan families. The traditions of Ninja’s, Samurais and Sensei’s (Teachers) have been passed down for generations. “We are training with the best”, says Grand Champion Antonio Wilson because the Wright Lineage comes from 3 Generations of World Martial Arts Champions training Champions”.
Yet as a martial artist and businessman, Wright has evolved spiritually and has become an author and international director of Universal Warrior Martial Arts Ju-Jutsu and Karate-Do. He has placed his own “fighting signature” on certain techniques and is recognized internationally. He is presently working on a new book titled When Engaged by X, coming soon.
Giving Back, Wright recently promoted a highly successful 2009 U.S. Open Regional Martial Arts Championship, “Fighting for a Cure”, with St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital with, Head Coach Dr. Thomas from the U.S. National Team “Alliance” and Principal of P.S. #11Chester Kaminski. This event included Action Packed Full Contact, Continuous Fighting with MMA cage fighter from Ohio, Traditional and Team Competition.
The Competition was highlighted by Com Cast, News Makers, Action Martial Arts Magazine and Karate Tournament.comand the US National Team Alliance. Other Inductees included into the Hall of Fame were Jr. Master Wayne Shivers, 5th Dan, Chief UWA Instructor and Vito Doria, 4th Dan “Outstanding Coach and Senior Competitor”.
