There are several reasons why the After School UWA Martial Arts Black Belt Leader ship Academy has taken this challenge. When Instructors notice kids with attention span problems, we work on “early intervention,” so no kids are ever left out or left behind. Teaching Life Skills, Self Defense, High Motivation and offering Instructional Assistance are qualities that enhance the overall character of the UWA Martial Art student’s Education states Wright who is an Educator who Presently works with Behavior Disorder kids 40 – 60 hours per week, Wright knows how to get the job done. Assisting Parents and Educators as disciplinarian and motivator is not a new task for Wright or his UWA Instructors. At the After School UWA Martial Arts Academy we focus on maximizing student’s potential.
We enhance Social UWA Students and Emotional Goals by building Self confidence, self discipline, team work, improving attendance & punctuality, learning how to accept reprimands from authority figures, follow directions and accepting consequences of inappropriate behavior. One of our new missions are to assist parents and teachers on the homework challenge. Now Structuring Homework Time: your child’s day includes times specifically designed for quiet activities where students work on their own. This is perfect homework time. Setting classroom expectations, homework times are to be used for homework first and we will communicate with parents by phone calls and sending Progress Reports home.
New programs ages 3 to adult for kids Martial Arts, Karate, Ju-Jutsu, Kick Boxing and, Self Defense are starting Now! Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced classes all styles, all systems, all ranks are welcome.
